As Prime Contractor, Grōt, Inc. supervised an interior and exterior electrical upgrade of the Barr Street U.S. Courthouse in Lexington, KY. This project consisted of the demolition of an existing service and an upgrade of the distribution service. It also required an excavation and installation of new primary and secondary duct banks, and a specific upgrade from an 800 Amp, 120/208 volt service to a 2500 Amp, 277/480 volt service. This was accomplished while maintaining the full operations of the U.S. Courts and U.S. Marshalls.
